The 28-year-old singer was spotted leaving a taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live in Hollywood on Wednesday dressed in a bizarre ensemble consisting of a camouflage onesie, thick biker boots and a studded bra.
If this is what Avril thinks of as stylish, it’s unlikely people will be too confident in her future designs for her Abbey Dawn collection.
And as if the outfit wasn’t bad enough, Lavigne added an unusual red necklace and red eye make-up.
She also appeared to have been taking some tips from Miley Cyrus, sticking out her orange stained tongue as she flashed her bra at waiting photographers.
Avril, however, delighted her fans as she stopped to sign autographs and chat as she left the studio.
It was the second bad outfit of the day for Avril who arrived for her taping in a PVC top, tight black trousers and a camouflage print sarong.
Having worn a dramatic black Monique L'huillier gown for her wedding to second husband Chad Kroeger in France on July 1, Lavigne is renowned for alternative styles.
The Canadian singer has long been known for being a tomboy, preferring baggy clothes, skater shoes or Converse, over designer dresses and high heels.
